I don’t know how to think about this car. Is GM trying to sell a cheap minivan to the second and third tier markets? They already sell 3 generations of the Buick (chevy venture) van AT THE SAME TIME.

Probably as safe as a Hiace (no longer sold here but still in production).

Probably safer than the reskinned 1980s European cast-offs the smaller, regional Chinese automakers still build, but less safe than basically anything you can buy in the West today.
